After 31 years of teaching, I have made the difficult decision to retire at the end of this school year. Although I am looking forward to pursuing other interests and traveling in retirement, this decision comes with much sadness for me. These last 10 years of my teaching career spent at Sands have undoubtedly been my most enjoyable and a true labor of love. Teaching your children over the years has been exceptionally fun, sometimes trying, often challenging, but always rewarding. Not having children of my own, I feel truly blessed to have had yours be such an important part of my life. Thank you for sharing them with me.

My time spent at Sands wouldn't have been nearly as enjoyable had it not been for the wonderful support from all of you, the parents, and for the awesome teachers and staff I have been privileged to work alongside. Thank you all for your love and support. I'll miss you!
