Crayons to Computers distributes donated surplus materials to needy Tri-State classrooms through their teachers’ free store. They have everything from pencils and paper to furniture and it is all free to teachers. Typically a school who receives Title 1 funding (which Sands Montessori does not) is eligible, but there is another way…….All you need to do is volunteer for 3 hours and a teacher of your choosing can go “shopping” for supplies. This volunteer opportunity is open to anyone over the age of 16. All you need to do is call Bobbie, the volunteer coordinator, at Crayons to Computers 482-3290. She will help you find a time that is suitable for your schedule.
